Eye Disease Detection
Vision Specialists uses proven technology to diagnose and treat eye conditions as soon as possible. To detect dry eye, our doctors use the Antares MWS-1T Meibography Workstation with Topography to evaluate the quality of your tears and tear film. We also use corneal topography to diagnose issues with the front of your eye including dry eye, keratoconus, and more.
By detecting these eye conditions early, we can help you slow or stop them in their tracks to protect your sharp, comfortable vision — well before even the possibility of vision loss.
Dry Eye Treatment
Vision Specialists uses the modern LipiFlow® treatments to treat dry eye quickly and effectively. LipiFlow® gently heats and massages the eyelid to unblock meibomian glands — oil glands on the edge of the eyelid that prevent tears from drying out too quickly. If your meibomian glands aren’t healthy, neither are your tears!
LipiFlow can quickly treat the underlying causes of dry eye, enhance the effectiveness of eyelid wipes that also clear up meibomian glands, and pairs excellently with other solutions like lubricating eye drops and protective, hydrating scleral lenses.

From the time I walked in the door (greeted by Maddie who offered basically a little of everything to drink) to Corrie with the the cool technology machines, to Dr. Jared, everything felt seamless. He was very professional, courteous and efficient. Thomas helped me pick a pair of glasses that I couldn't be more proud to wear.
